Feast of Saint Joseph the Hymnographer

Good morning. In today’s Gospel Jesus continues to challenge us. “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for He makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. We are called to love even when we don’t feel loved. Before we respond to our spouse we need to ask ourselves, ‘If I respond this way will I get the reaction I want or will my spouse respond in a way that will be good for us?’ We are asked to be like God, to be loving no matter. It does not mean we accept or approve how the other might treat us, but to accept them for who they are. "To dream the person you would like your partner to be is to waste the person your partner is." Let your spouse know how much you appreciate who they are. Make a great day!

Today we recall the good life, gifts, and works of Saint Joseph the Hymnographer.
